blue blaze black
The burning green Earth
shelters until the twilight sky.
We wait on the wise men of shining blades
yet a holy war is here and now:
the pain of heat is not for a child
shivering in the rain,
closing her eyes to keep out the cold
or the fire.
A slender, fragile medium between yellow and blue
The last green on the horizon.
And the fire
hungering for the slightest shoot of green,
set against the burning yellow of a righteous Sun,
caught high above His shame.
The weeping mother’s ocean, her darkened haven from
the sights of a war brought by a Sun God,
looking down on us from a one true perspective,
from which all wrong views are possible.
Demons were only ever an effigy.
The opposite of the sun sleeps behind mossy eyelids.
The stars aim for the eye of the one true star
with a bow made of rain
who can shield all the glittering blades of grass
